Museum and neighborhood of art, the Menil is dedicated to preserving and exhibiting the diverse works from many cultures collected by philanthropists John and Dominique de Menil, who enjoyed close personal friendships with many of the artists whose work they collected. August 2010: Construction progress on three light-rail lines is evident along Fulton, Harrisburg, and Scott. Progress maps are updated monthly on the METRO Solutions website. The University Corridor Light Rail received FTA approval for Advancement to Preliminary Engineering Phase in December 2009 and is now progressing with Environmental Impact compliance procedures.
